Welcome to KSM Driving. I am a driving instructor in Harrogate specialising in 'L' Driver training to driving test standard and beyond. Courses are structured around the official DSA Syllabus and will be tailored to your specific needs. Everyone learns at their own pace, having different abilities, needs and confidence levels. Whether you are a complete beginner, or have done some driving before - I can help you to pass your driving test and gain confidence and skill on the road. Subjects covered will include:

I am a honest and hardworking driving instructor who won't try to sell you more training than you need, but will be honest about the amount of training required. As an independent driving school I am not pressured by sales targets and minimum numbers of hours. Theory Preparation

Theory and Hazard Perception training is included as part of your training. As well as in car theory training, I can supply DVD's, Theory Test Books and a copy of the Highway Code. In fact all the help you need to pass the theory test first time.

Intensive Courses

Intensive and semi-intensive courses can be arranged to suit your needs. The number of hours is flexible, with a test booked at the end.

Refresher Training

Many people who have previously passed their driving test come to me for refresher training. Sometimes, a license is gained but not used. This can be for many reasons such as a car not being needed, illness, or a partner who has always 'done the driving'. Usually, a lack of driving experience has led to a lack of confidence. So refresher training is often aimed at restoring the confidence to drive again. You will find that you will remember most of the necessary skills, and with encouragement and training I aim to help you achieve whatever targets you want to set yourself. You may have a goal of 'Driving to work and back' or 'Driving on the Motorway'. I am flexible and can help you by discussing your needs and tailoring a course accordingly.
